Welcome to the North Sea Surf Film Festival 2026!

From all the crew, a big thank you for your support of the inaugural NSSFF. The line-up looks unreal and we want all our audiences to have an epic time at the festival. To help make that happen, please check out the useful festival info below.

Weekend Tickets

NSSFF 2026 Weekend Ticket - gives you access to:

1. Friday Night 27th March, 6pm at Tynemouth Village Hall

2. Saturday Gala Night 28th March, 6pm Salt Market North Shields

If you have purchased a Weekend Ticket for the Friday and Saturday night screenings, you will only have ONE ticket email. Please ensure you retain this for entry to both events.

FAQs

Q: What do I need for entry to NSSFF?

Please show your ticket email at the door for entry to each of our events. If you have purchased tickets for multiple people, please ensure your email ticket is valid for everyone. The number of people per ticket will be shown on your email.

Q: Can I buy a ticket at the door?

Unfortunately not. You must purchase a ticket BEFORE arrival as we're unable to take payment at the venue doors. Please go to our ticket page to purchase your tickets: https://www.northseasurffilmfestival.com/tickets

You will receive an email confirmation for your tickets which you will need to show for entry to each venue.

Q: Disabled Access?

All venues are accessible by wheelchair, however the screenings are not subtitled unless for language translation.

Q: Will there be food and drink at the festival?

⁃ Thanks to festival partner Northern Monk beer and AF beer will be served on Thursday and Friday, alongside soft drinks.

⁃ At our Saturday Gala Night at Salt Market Social, the full bar and kitchen will will be open from 6pm serving Northern Monk festival beer and food from MedHead.

⁃ At the Groms Takeover, Pink Lane Coffee Collective will be serving complimentary festival coffee for accompanying parents/guardians.

Q: Is there parking at the festival venues?

Q: I can no longer make it, can I get a refund for my tickets?

Unfortunately, we're unable to process refunds for tickets, however they are transferable. If you are unable to attend and wish to give your ticket to a friend, that’s fine - just forward them your confirmation email and ensure they use your name and order number at the door. Q: Are dogs allowed at the festival?

Except for accredited assistance dogs and guide dogs, we ask you not to bring your dog to the film screenings.

NSSFF Etiquette

To share our packed programme, film screenings are running to a tight schedule, please arrive in good time. The film programme is locked in, any unexpected changes will be due to reasons beyond our control. Festival crew will be on hand at all times. Any issues? Please let us know.

And finally, due to venue capacities, we cannot sell tickets on the door. We have a strict no-ticket, no-admission policy, apologies in advance!
